Sherri (Sherry) Belmont and Brygo who were originally Zach and Kiyo’s opponent in the series later became their allies and have gravitational-type spells. Umgon is a mammodo who specializes in transformation spells that can put armour around his body and increase his speed. Zach first met Kfak Sunbeam and Umagon in England. Kiyo and Zach meet Folwhites and Konchome (Canchoom), both of which are comic relief characters and have only the transformer spells as the canchomas are able to make themselves really big. They meet colleagues like Meguomi Omi and Tia in which they specialize in different types of shields such as defensive mantras. As the story progresses, Zach and Kiyo meet other Mammodos who share similar views and become allies. After meeting a mammodo named Komulu and to see how such Mammodo was forced to fight because of the power of his mantra, Zach decided to be a compassionate king to stop the battle that is occurring again. As Kiyo and Zach start to face different Mammodo and learn more about the Mammodo battle, they discover that there are people who do not wish to fight and there are people who fight for the wrong reasons. Kiyo learns about the spell book when he reads a spell that causes Zach to lightening the lightning from his mouth (the spell is mentioned in the first episode). Unlike other Mammodo, Zach lost his memory of the Mammodo world. His father, Sitaro Tackin, lives in a forest in England, searching for an unconscious child named Zach Bell and sending Ziyo to live with Kio. Taking place mostly in modern Japan, the story follows Kyoke Tachomine, a 14-year-old boy in junior high school.
